Thank you all so much for your support of the TotalParty Kill Bestiary - Vol. 1! With your support, we've been able to put together a truly unique, masterful collection of high-level monsters for 5th Edition, and we've so enjoyed the creation process along the way.
We wanted to share a brief update - we've finally uploaded the *final* versions of the PDF (including all errata changes), which you'll find in your backerkit downloads here: https://tpk-bestiary.backerkit.com/backer/digital_rewards
Thanks to the success of this first project, we're able to launch and fund the Total Party Kill Bestiary - Vol. 2, including another 100 monsters in the same vein and detail as those in the first volume! In addition, we're including a number of minis for key monsters through the books and the mighty TPK Collector's Box, which additional supplemental material to bring the pain to your players! With the content's already written, we're expecting a quick turnaround on this project - bringing the book to your table in the next few months!

Quick & Final (?) Bestiary Update!

Hello!
At long last we've finished with shipping for the Total Party Kill Bestiary- Vol. 1. It *has* taken us some time, and we're so sorry for the delay.
Shipping Update - Everything's Shipped!
We'll be responding to all of the backers who requested shipping updates one-at-a-time, through Kickstarter message and posting "We've responded, please check your messages" updates as we get to them. While you should all be receiving your print copies (if you haven't already), please let us know if you'd like tracking information associated with your prints and we'll track down the order and get that sent to you. Unfortunately, this process is disappointingly manual, so please be patient with us (this is one of the many things we're revamping for future projects learned from this one!).
We'll track down andrespond to all currently outstanding individual requests for updates by October 14.
PDF / Errata Update
Due to a bit of an interesting interaction with our printer (in which they've told us we have too much ink on our pages), we're going through the Total Party Kill Bestiary- Vol. 1 and updating the formatting to show a lighter tone. You won't see this in your print copies, but anyone ordering beyond now will get this newer version. The "Dark Ink" version associated with the Kickstarter has, by accident, become a limited edition of these books.
The updated formatting for the PDFs will be released onor before October 21 through Backerkit. You'll be receiving updates with the download links through Backerkit around then. This version will also include the substantial errata changes to the document, identified by the backers who have gone through this with a fine-tooth comb. The changes have helped immensely, and we're excited to share them.
With that, we've just about closed out the Total Party Kill Bestiary- Vol. 1. Thanks, as always, for your patience and support. We're thrilled to have brought you the latest collection of deadly, dangerous, and dastardly dungeon denizens to supplement your dragons.

Deluxe TPK Bestiary Proofs!
We've received the print proofs for the Deluxe TPK Bestiary and they look stellar. Definitely the highest-quality product we've been able to produce; as always, thank you so much for the support! Printing & Shipping Update
Everything's been ordered from the printer! Those of you in our international shipping locations (EU, AUS, etc.) will be receiving your prints first (and should receive a couple of emails from the printer updating you of the order status). If these haven't arrived already, expect them to come in within two weeks of this update (by around September 11).
This brings us to the "Late News", which simply is that we're slightly behind getting these books out. Those of you in the US, and those in "International, Non-Print" locations (such as Canada, UAE, Singapore, etc.) should expect the books by September 20, if not quite a bit before then.
As often, our apologies for being a little behind the ball on this. Sorry for the added wait. That said, we're very pleased to finally get these printed and shipped!

Print Proofs & Epic Legacy

Print Proofs for the Total Party Kill Bestiary are in!
Recently arrived - fresh off the press, the Total Party Kill Bestiary has arrived in the ... flesh? A great starting point with the book; we're going to make two alterations to the base version here, and then will be ready to start printing these. We're on-schedule to get these to you by the end of August.
Three Changes - 2 Light, 1 Heavy
We're making a couple of light changes to the Total Party Kill Bestiary print format here.
(1) Matte > Gloss. Changing the standard version from a matte cover to a gloss cover (for consistency with the other books in the Total Party Kill line - Deluxe version will retain a matte cover).
(2) Spine Spacing. Spine formatting will be slightly adjusted to fill up more of the available space (see below)
(3) Errata. The significant change we'll be working through will be the errata changes that you, the diligent community, have identified (alongside those that we've found). There are a host of useful changes that we'll be implementing before we get the print copies to you. Thank you so much for your review of the PDF that allows us to identify these!
Other Proofs
We're getting another print proof to confirm that these changes will look good. Assuming those go well (as they ought), we're still on track for delivery by the end of the month. We'll be picking up a pair of deluxe copies as well (base & alternate cover) in this second round of print proofs to ensure quality is where we want that.

The Beasts Are Loose! Full PDF Available Now!

Hey folks, guess what?! THE BESTIARY IS COMPLETE! Many thanks, once again to all of you for your support and patience as we crafted this masterwork project! We've finally finished it up and delivery has started through BackerKit! You can find your downloads on the "Digital Downloads" BackerKit page and should have received an email about the availability of your downloads.
There is so much content for you to explore and this book as has exceeded our every expectation. With 100 stated monsters and a huge amount of customization options, we are confident this book will make a massive splash at your game table (and hopefully the 5E community at large!). However, this is only the PDF, and many of you are still waiting on your hardcovers, so lets talk about that.
The Timeline From Here
Early July: We'll incorporate any changes, edits, and errata that slipped between the cracks into an updated release of the PDF, which we'll put out on Backerkit. This ensures that when we put the book to print, it is as perfect as we can possibly make it. We will post an update when we make adjustments!
Mid-July: Pre-Orders for the Total Party Kill Bestiary close through Backerkit. We'll still be providing deliverables to you through the platform, but we'll have moved the items to our website: www.2cgaming.com
Late August: The prints are going to take about two months to ship out. Expect them to start showing up towards the end of August with Kickstarter updates heralding their arrival. This time delays is to allow for us to resolve any issues that can occur with printing through print proofs.
Project Development
Our vision for this project expanded dramatically over the course of its development. You can see the differences between the first promo piece we produced when compared to the final product. Fortunately this expansion did not increase production costs, only time, and we feel the changes we made dramatically improved upon the original vision. You may notice that the Bestiary is titled "Volume One", which indicates we intend to take this concept and presentation of monsters further!
The first of hopefully many!
The TPK Bestiary has always been about quality over quantity when it comes to monsters, and we honestly feel our model of monster design should become more standard for 5th Edition. We have already been producing additional "TPK style" groups and monsters via our Patreon, and intend to use the monstes designed and refined there to create a Volume 2!
